Between 1948/1958, more than 1800 men worked every day to survey, excavate, plaster and build the imposing Mauvoisin Dam ( 250 m high ). Since summer 2012, a photographic path tells the story of this epic. Visitors can enter the tunnels which were used to build this hydroelectric complex. The Mauvoisin gorges at the top of the Dam provide a unique walk.
