You’ll work up a sweat on the climb up to the Col de Mille, but the descent along Mont Rogneux offers a view of Verbier that makes it well worth the effort!

The ascent is deviated by the crossing of the Tseppi path and then the alpine road that leads to the Mille stables. From the stables, another 400m of ascent separates you from the Col de Mille and its welcoming hut.

After a well-earned pit stop, it’ll be time to tackle the 2,000 metres of trail down to Le Châble.
Starting from the Col de Mille, set off in the direction of Servay on a magnificent alpine singletrack (please note: mobile phone reception in the area is limited). Just before the small lake (Goli de Servay), turn 180°to the left and continue to the Les Beutsons valley and then Momin. This part of the route has amazing flow!
When you reach the Route de Momin, the trail cuts across the bends in the road – cycle carefully, as this is the tour’s most technical section.
Before reaching the mountain stream, turn left onto the final section of trail along the river.
If you still have some leftover energy, tackle the short climb (60m alt. gain) when you reach the Dranse river at the end of the valley. This will take you to the end of Route 5, where you can round off the day in style!
