You can take a break halfway through the itinerary in the village of Fionnay. The village is mostly made up of old mazot huts, which lend it an authentic charm. The real climb begins here, and the route becomes progressively narrower and wilder. You will discover unspoilt nature and a breathtaking panorama.
Cross the hamlet of Bonatchiesse, which benefits from a peaceful and natural setting. Once you arrive in Mauvoisin, you will have the option to cycle up to the dam – it’s well worth the detour to see it!
