Family activities and connecting with nature are in the spotlight in this little corner of paradise overlooking the valley.

Previously known as “Mayens-de-Riddes,” the village of La Tzoumaz sits on the northern slope of Verbier overlooking the Rhone valley. Its name comes from the word “tzoumer” in Valaisan patois meaning the place where you rest. Mountain bikers, e-bikers and downhill enthusiasts will get their adrenalin pumping on easy or advanced trails from the top of the Savoleyres gondola lift or from the heights of the Vallon d’Arbi at an altitude of over 2,300 metres. Hiking routes, mountain scooters and numerous family walks and activities complete the offer. If you want to discover more about your natural surroundings, then Espace Nature will certainly live up to your expectations including a River Challenge, Sensory Trail and the Forest House (Maison de la Forêt) with exhibitions.
